Malta

In addition to its beautiful beaches, Malta also boasts one of Europe’s most beautiful cities: Valletta. This undiscovered gem is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in its entirety and has no fewer than 320 historic buildings within its ancient city walls. Nowhere in the world is the ‘historic density’ so great as in Valetta! Not only are all the hot spots close to each other in Valletta, but Malta itself is also nice and compact. Other islands can also easily be reached from here. Be sure to visit the island of Comino, with its beautiful Blue Lagoon. The water here is so blue it’s like swimming in a pool!
