When you land at London Stansted Airport, the city centre is easily accessible by public transport. The Stansted Express train will get you there in 45 minutes. Buy tickets at the airport’s machines or ticket counters. Want a cheaper option and don’t mind a longer journey? Take the bus; it’s half the price but takes twice as long. Prefer more comfort? A taxi ride takes around an hour.  

Getting around London is a breeze thanks to the city's excellent public transport system. The extensive underground network whisks you quickly and efficiently to all the city’s highlights. The iconic red double-decker buses are also a fun option, but keep in mind that traffic can slow you down. Want to explore attractions outside of London? Take a train from Waterloo station or King’s Cross/St Pancras station.
