The inviting town of Essaouira is located on the west coast of Morocco. Here you can enjoy traditional Morocco, with its centuries-old medina. The medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and for good reason. Everywhere you go, you see small white and blue houses, reminiscent of those in Greece. Want to enjoy fabulous views of the sea and city? Walk just outside the medina to the Skala de ville and Skale du port. You can also see the fishing port from Skale du port. Make sure to visit it at the end of the morning when the fishermen return in boats filled with fish. Those very same fish, of course, are found on the evening menu!
