Transport to/from the airport

Innsbruck Airport is about 5 km from the centre of Innsbruck. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    Taxis are outside the airport. The taxi journey to the centre of Innsbruck costs about €10 to €15.
  • Bus

    Bus F runs all week to and from the main railway station in Innsbruck. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

  • Bus

    Do you want to explore all the sights in Innsbruck? Then take the ‘TS’ (The Sightseer) bus so that you do not miss anything! Buy a ticket at the bus station or from the bus driver. Tickets that you buy in advance need to be stamped by the public transport machines. This goes for trams too.
  • Tram

    Travelling by tram in Innsbruck is fast and cheap. The trams also run to the winter sports villages such as Igls. The route through the mountainous landscape is beautiful!
  • Taxi

    Pick up taxis at the taxi ranks in Innsbruck. The price of taxi rides in the city is by meter. If you take a taxi outside the city it is better to agree a price in advance.
