Transport to/from the airport

Cyprus has two airports, of which Larnaca is the largest. Larnaca Airport is located about 5 km from the city centre. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    The taxi ranks are outside, in front of the arrival hall. Want to know how much you will be charged for a taxi drive? You will find a board with all taxi fares in the arrival hall.
  • Bus

    There are several buses that run to the major cities on the island. These buses depart from the arrival hall. The Limassol Airport Express bus will take you to Limassol in 50 minutes.

  • Bus

    Public transport in Larnaca consists of Astika Leoforia Pafou (ALEPA) buses. The company is cheap but offers an extensive network of routes.
  • Taxi

    You can hail taxis anywhere on the street in Larnaca.
    Note: it is relatively expensive to travel by taxi in Larnaca.

  • The plugs used in Larnaca are different from those used in the Netherlands, so bring an adapter for your electrical equipment!
