Transport to/from the airport

Almería’s airport is located about 9 km from the city centre. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    The taxi ranks are outside, in front of the arrival hall. The taxi fares are higher on weekdays between 10 pm and 6 am and in the weekend.
  • Bus

    The bus from the airport is easy to find as there is only one bus, number 22. The journey to the centre of Almería takes about 35 minutes.  A one-way bus ticket costs about €1.05.

Travel anywhere within Almería:
  • Bus

    Almería has an extensive bus network which makes the bus a good way to visit most of Almería’s interesting places. You can buy tickets from the bus driver.
  • Taxi

    You can hail taxis on the street in Almería or pick them up from a taxi rank. You know when a taxi is available because because the green light on the roof is lit. The taxis in Almería are recognisable by their white colour and red stripe on the side.
