Transport to/from the airport

Malaga’s airport is located about 10 km from the city centre. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi, bus or train.
  • Taxi

    The taxi ranks are outside in front of Terminal 3's arrival hall. Check that the meter is on. in order to prevent any unpleasant surprises.
  • Bus

    Bus A leaves Terminal 3 every 20 minutes for the centre of Malaga.  Get off at Alameda Principal.

Transport in the city/region

Travel anywhere within and from Malaga:
  • Bus

    Malaga has an extensive bus network. Most buses run between 6:45 am and 11 pm. If you want a night on the town, there are also three night buses. Most buses can be found on the Alameda Principal - a 42 metre wide road - in the centre of Malaga.
  • Train

    Do you have enough time to see more of Spain? There is a train station in Malaga behind the EROSKI shopping centre. You can travel to cities such as Madrid from here.
  • Taxi

    The taxis in Malaga are recognisable by their white colour and blue diagonal stripe on the side. If the green light on the taxi’s roof is lit and there is a sign saying ‘libre’ at the windshield, the green light on the roof is lit.
