Transport to/from the airport

Valencia’s airport is located about 8 km from the city centre. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi, metro or bus.
  • Taxi

    The taxi ranks are located in front of the departure hall. The taxi journey from the airport to the centre of Valencia costs about €15.
  • Bus

    The Aero bus goes from the arrival hall to the centre of Valencia. The buses run between 6 am and 10 pm.
  • Metro

    There is a metro station under the departure hall. Lines 3 and 5 go to the centre of Valencia. 

Transport in the city/region

Travel anywhere within Valencia: 
  • Metro

    The metro is a very convenient way to get to and from the airport. The ticket to the centre only costs €1.50. You can buy tickets from the ticket counter or from the vending machines. 
  • Bus

    Buses run the whole day to different parts of the city of Valencia. If you want to use the bus at night, there is a night bus. Note: these run less frequently than during the day. Buy bus tickets in the bus or at a kiosk.
  • Tram

    Do you want to go to the beach in Valencia? The tram will take you there quickly! Before you know it you will be lying on your towel in the sun.
  • Taxi

    If you take a taxi you will quickly see that the fares are quite low in Valencia. You can hail taxis anywhere in the city. If the green light is lit, the taxi is available.
