Transport to/from the airport

Prague’s airport is located about 20 km north west of the city. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    The airport’s official taxis are AAA radio taxi and FIX airport cars. They are outside, in front of Terminals 1 and 2.
  • Bus

    There are bus stops at Terminals 1 and 2 of Prague Airport. The AE Airport Express is the fastest way to get to Prague’s main railway station or the city centre.

Transport in the city/region

Travel anywhere within Prague: 
  • Metro

    Travel conveniently from one side of Prague to the other. It is a great way to see a lot of the city quickly. The metro network consists of three lines: A (green), B (yellow) and C (red).
  • Bus

    Do you want to explore the area around Prague? In that case, the best way to travel is by bus. The buses often go outside the city centre.
  • Tram

    The is the perfect way to travel within the city. Very convenient is that the tram stops at many of the sights!
  • Taxi

    There are taxi ranks in different parts of Prague. Taxis are not permitted to pick up passengers outside the taxi ranks.
