Diving on the Balearen

On the Balearen, a group of four Spanish islands in the Mediterranean sea there is a lot to see and do. Transavia brings you to three out of four:

1. Menorca
On Menorca you can dive all your through the year. This goes for all the Balearen islands. You’ll see many different species of fish, caves and even octopus! Want to start slow? Then you should try snorkeling, a great way to explore the water. You’ll walk right into a magical underwater world. In Cala Blanca there are many good restaurants where you can recharge after diving for a few hours.

2. Ibiza
Ibiza is well known for being a party island. But that it’s also a paradise for divers is a less known fact. You’ll find shipwrecks around the island, underwater caves, rifs and diverse ocean life. All these things make Ibiza into a favourable diving location. Go and explore the freighter ‘Don Pedro’ that sunk close to Ibiza harbour in 2007 for example. A unique experience in the mediterranean!

3. Palma de Mallorca
In the bright blue water around Mallorca diving is splendid! The rocks around the island hide all sorts of tunnels and caves, making it a paradise for divers. Book a trip with one of the diving schools on the island and discover the beautiful life under the sea. End your day in the bays of Mallorca at a restaurant looking at a beautiful sunrise.
