Conditions for re-routing, refunding and creating a voucher

Changing flights

Re-routing at a later date is free of charge.

The re-routing flight will be operated by Transavia, subject to seat availability. Transavia reserves the right to entrust the contract of carriage to one of its partners within the Air France KLM group or to any other carrier complying with the safety standards applicable in Europe. The chosen partner will then be responsible for the flight and its general conditions.

By accepting this rerouting, the passenger agrees to take this flight and will not be able to request a refund afterwards (unless the rescheduled flight is cancelled).

If the passenger refuses to accept the re-routing, he/she will be considered as having broken the initial contract of carriage with Transavia and will have to pay for his/her own transportation to the final destination.

Requesting a refund

Refunds are applicable in case of flight cancellation and will be made within 7 days from the date of the refund request.

If the passenger has booked directly with Transavia, the refund will be credited to the account linked to the credit card used for the initial booking.

If the passenger has booked through a travel agency, the agency will be re-credited and the passenger will have to contact the agency in order to obtain the refund.

Passengers who have booked multiple flights will have their entire trip cancelled and will be reimbursed for all flights not yet operated.

In particular, a passenger who has a round-trip ticket in accordance with the contract of carriage and whose outbound flight is canceled, will have his or her return flight automatically canceled and refunded as well.

Passengers wishing to keep the benefit of their return flight not affected by the cancellation should not validate the refund request via this form but should contact Transavia's customer service at +33 9 72 72 00 32 (local call rate) in order to inform the carrier within 24 hours.

Request a voucher

In case of flight cancellation, Transavia may, at the customer's request, reimburse the customer in the form of voucher under the following conditions

  • The voucher is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issue and cannot be refunded.
  • The trip must be booked and completed before the expiration date of the voucher.
  • The voucher is valid on all Transavia flights.
  • The voucher can be used on several reservations.
  • Only one voucher can be used per booking.
  • If the voucher is not used in full, the difference cannot be refunded or used for another voucher.
  • The voucher is not nominative and can be used to make a reservation for another passenger.
  • In case of a refund request on a reservation paid with a voucher, a new voucher will be issued.

Passengers who have booked several flights will have their entire trip cancelled and the amount of all flights not yet taken will be credited to the voucher.

In particular, a passenger who has a round-trip reservation in accordance with the contract of carriage and whose outbound flight is cancelled will have his or her return flight automatically cancelled and the amount of the return flight will also be credited to the voucher.

Passengers wishing to keep the benefit of their return flight not affected by the cancellation should not validate the refund request in the form of a voucher via this form but should contact Transavia's customer service at +33 9 72 72 00 32 (price of a local call) in order to inform the carrier within 24 hours.
