Can I bring my musical instrument(s) with me?
We don't want your instrument to be damaged during your flight. That is why we advise you to transport vulnerable instruments as hand luggage. Make sure that you check the conditions for transporting your instrument as hand luggage prior to departure.
If you would prefer to transport your instrument as hold luggage, please pack your instrument in a hard case. We are not liable for any damage caused during transportation. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to provide any compensation.
If you are traveling with Transavia France (flight number starting with TO) and your baggage is larger than 55 x 40 x 25 cm, you can reserve an extra seat through the Customer Service. To carry it in the cabin, the maximum dimensions (including wheels, handles and protective covers) are 110 x 44 x 55 cm and the maximum weight is 20 kg.
As long as you haven’t checked in (online), you can book your hold luggage until a maximum of 2 hours before departure via My Transavia.
