Do I need to reserve a seat for my special hand luggage?

If your special hand luggage is not larger than 55 x 40 x 25 cm, you can take it with you as a cabin bag in the overhead luggage compartments. Book your cabin bag in My Transavia or via our Service Centre.  

If your hand luggage is larger than this, such as a wedding dress, musical instrument or a camera, you can book an extra seat via our Service Centre. The maximum size, including a case or protective covering, is 110 x 44 x 55 cm. The maximum weight is 20 kg. Please inform the Customer Service, if your special hand luggage is larger than this.

As long as you haven’t checked-in (online), you can book your checked baggage until a maximum of 2 hours before departure via My Transavia.
