What tips do you have for a pleasant flight with my baby?
- We would recommend that you put all liquids and jars of formula together in a single bag so that you can pass through security checks at the airport both quickly and efficiently. It makes it easy for security to carry out their checks.
- You can feed your baby once the seatbelt lights have been turned off. Would you like to give your baby a warm 'meal' on board? That is possible! Our cabin crew can warm up the baby food. This may take a while, because we do this au-bain marie (in warm water). So please indicate at what time you would like to use the service.
- Take a dummy (pacifier) on board. This can reduce any pain in the baby’s ears during take-off or landing.
- It may be a little bit chilly on board. Make sure your baby is wearing sufficient clothing.
- Pick up your buggy or pram at the luggage reclaim after you have landed. This may mean walking quite a distance from the plane, so take that into account – take a baby carrier with you, for instance.
- Bring a few extra nappies with you. You can change your baby on the changing table in the toilets on board.
