How do I resell my ticket?

Can’t travel anymore? Easily resell your ticket on our resale platform.

If you no longer wish to travel, you can cancel your Transavia booking. In this case, only airport taxes are refundable, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.

If you prefer, you can try to resell your ticket using our resale platform and receive compensation of at least 50% of your booking price.

Eligibility conditions for resale

To request the resale of your ticket, your booking must meet our eligibility criteria.

All tickets are eligible for resale, except in the following cases:

  • Bookings made with the Max fare
  • Bookings with the Flex option
  • Bookings paid in a currency other than Euro
  • Bookings that have been modified (change of flight, name, etc.)
  • Bookings made via a travel agency (except those made through our customer service)
  • Passengers who have already checked in
  • Group and business bookings
  • Bookings paid with Flying Blue miles (even if partially paid in euros)
  • Bookings for flights departing in less than 12 hours
  • Bookings that have been made less than 72 hours ago

Is your resale guaranteed?

Whether your ticket resale is guaranteed depends on the demand for your flight. If resale is guaranteed, the status "Guaranteed Sale" will be shown during the resale process or in the email you receive afterward. If the status "Pending Resale" appears, or if you cancel your resale, then the resale is not guaranteed.

How to resell your ticket?

Simply go to your “My Transavia” account and click on “Resell your ticket.” You can choose which flight to resell—if, for example, you only want to resell one leg of a round trip. To do this, just select the specific flight(s) during the resale process. However, the resale must apply to all passengers in the booking.

Your ticket will then be offered for resale and may be sold depending on demand, up to 1 hour before the flight.

You can submit a resale request up to 12 hours before your flight’s departure.

Your compensation

If your ticket is resold, you’ll receive an email notification with the status "Resold" and the amount of your compensation. From the date of this email, your compensation will be issued within 72 hours. You can also find this information in the “Manage Your Resales” section on our resale platform.

The amount will be refunded to your original method of payment. If you used multiple payment methods, the refund will be split accordingly.

The compensation amount varies and is based on several criteria related to your booking. You can view the compensation amount via the "Manage Your Resales" section.

Note: You will only receive compensation if someone purchases your ticket through our website. If your ticket is not resold, no compensation will be issued. Please note that until your ticket is resold, your reservation remains valid.

Is your ticket still valid if your resale request is unsuccessful?

Yes, as long as the ticket hasn’t been resold. You can cancel your resale request in the “Manage Your Resales” section. Any modification you make to your booking will automatically cancel your resale request.
