Bringing medication on board

Are you going on a trip and need medication on board? Find out everything you need to know about the subject in our dedicated FAQs!

If you are travelling and wish to bring medication on board at Transavia, you can read all about the regulations regarding bringing medication on board here. You are permitted to take medication such as antibiotics, asthma medication, insulin or an EpiPen on board Transavia aircraft. To take medication on board, you must request a European medical passport from your GP or pharmacy prior to departure. This contains information regarding your medication use in various languages. We recommend putting medicines in a separate bag to ensure that you can keep them with you during the flight. If your medication needs to be kept cool on the plane, please bring it with you packed into refrigerated bags or vacuum bottles. Ensure these packages comply with the safety regulations for hand luggage. Liquid medicines may be brought on board in unlimited quantities. You do not need to place them into a separate plastic bag. If you wish to take the pill, contraceptive patch and contraceptive ring on the plane, please place them into your hand luggage. If you are bringing contraception with you in check-in baggage, the reliability of the contraception can no longer be guaranteed.
