Missing luggage

You didn't find your luggage on the baggage carousel when you arrived at the airport? We are very sorry to hear this. Read here what to do next.

Have you lost your suitcase or luggage on a Transavia flight? Then read here what the options are and what your rights are. Of course it is annoying if your luggage is not found on the baggage reclaim. We will do everything we can with the airport authorities to return your luggage to you. You can contact the Lost & Found department at the airport if you have lost a personal item at the airport or have forgotten it on board. Please contact the Service Centre as soon as possible if you are no longer at the airport. Please note that Transavia cannot be held responsible for any personal items that you have forgotten on board or have lost at the airport. Has your luggage been lost? Please report any delayed baggage at the luggage counter in the arrivals hall. You will be given a form at the service desk, a so-called 'Property Irregularity Report (PIR)', which includes a file number. This allows you to follow the status of your claim. The airport will search for your luggage for the first five days. You can track the status online. Transavia will search for your luggage from days 6-21. Has your luggage not been found after 21 days? Then you can ask for compensation. We will deliver your belongings to your (place of residence) address as soon as possible if your luggage has been found. There are some countries where it is not possible to deliver your luggage to your (place of residence) address due to safety regulations. In that case, you have to personally pick up any luggage at the airport. We would recommend that you contact your insurance company if your luggage goes missing. Most insurance policies cover this loss based on the value of your possessions. Have you not taken out any travel insurance, but your Transavia luggage has gone missing? Then request compensation from us. You can do this by using our online form.
