What do I get with the Smart fare?

Included in the Smart fare (per person):

• Your airline ticket.
• One piece of hand luggage of maximum 40 x 30 x 20 cm (such as a small backpack or handbag). This must always be placed under the seat in front of you.
• One cabin baggage of max 55 x 40 x 25 cm (such as a trolley or travel bag). Stow this in the overhead compartments.
• Together, your hand luggage and cabin bag may weigh max 10 kg.
• A standard seat of your choice.
• A fixed number of Miles based on your Flying Blue Level, plus Experience Points (XP) depending on the flight distance.

• Silver: 375 Miles*
• Gold: 438 Miles*
• Platinum: 500 Miles*

• Domestic flights: 2 XP*
• Flights up to 2000 miles: 5 XP*
• Flights from 2000 miles: 8 XP*

Booking additional products and services

You can select extra products and services while booking, or book them afterwards via My Transavia. This is possible per person up to two hours before departure. Examples are booking additional checked baggage and taking a pet. 

Changing your booking with the Smart fare

You can change the booking up to two hours before departure, for a fee.

Smart fare
You pay a change fee to change the date or time of your flight or to change your itinerary.

• If your flight number starts with HV and is it more than 30 days before departure, you pay €55 per single flight. If it is less than 30 days before departure, you pay €70 per single flight. 
• If your flight number starts with TO, you pay €60* per single flight.

*Please note:

• If you want to make a change via the Service Centre and your flight number starts with TO, you pay a €70 change fee per single flight.
• For bookings made from March 12 onwards, these modifications will cost €89 online and €99 via customer service if made 5 days or less before the departure of the original flight.
• Modifications made 6 days or more before departure will remain €60 online and €70 via customer service.

If your new ticket more expensive, you will also pay the difference in the ticket price.

Flex:
Did you add 'Flex' at €10 p.p. per single flight when booking and would like to change the time and/or date of your flight? No change fee will be charged. If your new ticket is more expensive, you will pay the difference in the ticket price.

Please note: With Flex, you can change your flight up to 12 hours before departure if you fly to/from the Netherlands or Belgium (flight number starts with HV, e.g. HV6003) and two hours before departure for flights to/from France (flight number starts with TO, e.g. TO7604). Postpone your trip as often as you like up to one year after booking.

You can also change the passenger details. You can make one change per passenger for free: first name, last name or date of birth. If you want to make more than one change, the same change fees as above apply, depending on your flight number plus any difference in the ticket price.
