What situations are covered by insurance from Chubb?
When booking your trip with Transavia or afterwards in My Transavia, you can take out travel or cancellation insurance through our partner Chubb. You can choose from three types of insurance: 1) cancellation insurance, 2) cancellation insurance + flight and baggage cover and 3) travel and cancellation insurance.
Cancellation insurance
You can take out cancellation insurance up to 7 days after you have made your booking. With Chubb's cancellation insurance, you are covered for:
- Cancellation fees for each flight
- 100% of your ticket price + extras, such as checked baggage and seat reservations booked on www.transavia.com

Cancellation insurance + flight and baggage coverage
You can take out cancellation insurance + flight and baggage cover up to 7 days after you make your booking. With this insurance from Chubb, you are covered for:
- Cancellation fees for each flight
- 100% of your ticket price + extras, such as checked baggage and seat reservations booked on www.transavia.com
- Up to €2,000 if your luggage is lost, stolen or damaged
- Up to €250 if your flight is delayed or you miss your flight.

Travel and cancellation insurance
With Chubb's travel and cancellation insurance, you are covered for the duration of your trip* with Transavia for:
- Cancellation fees for each flight
- 100% of your ticket price + extras, such as checked baggage and seat reservations booked on www.transavia.com
- Up to €2,000 if your luggage is lost, stolen or damaged
- Up to €250 if your flight is delayed or you miss your flight
- 100% of medical expenses.
*By duration of trip we mean from the moment of your departure to take your outbound Transavia flight until you return to your home or residence.
