- Giralda
Climb the Giralda Tower for breathtaking views of Seville. This structure was built in the 12th century and is now 1 of the city's most famous monuments. The Giralda is 104 metres high and has no stairs, but sloping paths which you can walk up on.
- Semana Santa
During Semana Santa, the week before Easter, Seville is awash with impressive parades in which statues of Jesus and Mary are carried through the streets. This week is full of ceremonies and festivities. We also highly recommend the Feria de Abril: enjoy local music, dancing, and delicious food for a week straight.
- Metropol Parasol
Fan of modern architecture? Head to Metropol Parasol, a giant 150-metre by 70-metre wooden structure located in the heart of Seville. Built in 2011, this structure consists of 6 mushroom-shaped parasols with 5 floors. Inside you'll find a museum and a tapas restaurant. Upstairs you'll be treated to stunning views of the city.
