Transport to/from the airport

Oujda’s airport is located about 10 km to the north of the city centre. The only form of transport to/from the airport is by taxi.

    The only form of transport from the airport to the city centre of Oujda is by taxi. The taxis are outside the airport.

Transport in the city/region

Travel anywhere within Oujda:
  • Bus

    Explore the city of Oujda by city bus. There are also buses that go to cities such as Fez. 
  • Taxi

    There are two types of taxis in Oujda: petit taxis and grande taxis. The petit taxis are red and drive in Oujda itself. If you want to see more than Oujda then take a grande taxi. These are white and run in the surroundings of Oujda.

Important information

  • It is recommended to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A and DTP. This is not obligatory. 
  • It is not advisable to drink the tap water in Oujda. Should you wish to drink water, it is best to buy bottled mineral water at one of the supermarkets.
