Flying with children

Are you flying with one or more children? Children ages 2 and older require their own separate seat. The fare for this seat is the same as for an adult.

Luggage rules for children

The following luggage rules apply to children ages 2 and up:

  1. 1 piece of hand luggage of max. 55 x 40 x 25 cm and max. 10 kg. Want to be sure that your child's hand luggage can be brought on board? Make sure the hand luggage is no larger than 45 x 40 x 25 cm. This size bag fits under the seat in front of you or in the luggage compartment above your head.
  2. Extra collapsible umbrella buggy of max. 7 kg. You can take this with you to the gate, from where it will be transported as hold luggage.
  3. Hold luggage can be booked when booking your flight, online via My Transavia or by calling the call centre. You can find more information on this on the hold luggage page.
Note: Important: For flights booked with transavia.com France (your flight number will start with TO), your collapsible buggy will have to be handed over at check-in to be
transported as hold luggage.
