Basic fare, Plus fare and Max fare

Booking a flight has never been so easy and fast! Choose the fare that best suits you while booking. The fares are displayed after you select a flight. Choose one of the following fares:

What do I get for the Basic fare?

Included in the Basic fare:

  • Your airline ticket
  • 1 piece of hand luggage of max. 55 x 40 x 25 cm and max. 10 kg

Please note: you do not earn Flying Blue Award Miles.

Booking additional products and services

If you choose the Basic fare, you can book additional products and services separately via My Transavia either while booking or afterwards. You can book these up to 2 hours before departure.

Changing your booking with the Basic fare

If you choose the Basic fare, you can change your booking up to 2 hours before departure. You can change the time, the date and the route of your flight and the passenger details. This entails €50 in change fees per person per flight plus the difference in ticket price, if applicable. Please note! After you’ve checked in, you can no longer make any changes to your booking.

What do I get for the Plus fare?

Included in the Plus fare:

  • Your airline ticket
  • 1 piece of hand luggage of max. 55 x 40 x 25 cm and max. 10 kg
  • 20 kg hold luggage
  • A standard seat of your choice
  • Save at least €50 in change fees per flight by changing the time and date up to 14 days before departure. You only pay for the difference in ticket price, if applicable.
  • 250 Award Miles per one-way journey (500 Award Miles for a return flight).
Booking additional products and services

If you choose the Plus fare, you can book additional products and services separately via My Transavia either while booking or afterwards. For example, this fare includes a standard seat of your choice, but you can also reserve a more expensive seat with extra legroom during booking. You then only pay the price difference between the standard seat and the more expensive seat. You can also book extra hold luggage either during the booking or afterwards via My Transavia at a cheaper online fare.

Changing your booking with the Plus fare

If you choose the Plus fare, you can change the time, date and route of your flight up to 14 days before departure as often as you wish. You then save the change fee of €50 per person per flight. Is your new flight more expensive than the original flight? You only pay for any difference in ticket price.

If you change your flight within 14 days before departure, you pay both €50 change fees and the difference in ticket price. You can also change passenger details up to 2 hours before departure. You then pay €50 change fees plus the difference in ticket price. Please note! After you’ve checked in, you can no longer make any changes to your booking.

Why doesn’t my credit card work?

If your credit card is declined, there may be several reasons for this:
  • You may have accidentally entered the wrong credit card number. Check the number you entered to see whether it is correct.
  • The name entered may not be exactly the same as on the credit card. Check to make sure you entered the exact same name.
  • The expiration date for your credit card may have lapsed. In this case, we recommend contacting your credit card company.
  • You have not yet activated your credit card. In this case, we recommend contacting your credit card company.
  • The connection for authorising your credit card may have timed out or there is a network error. Try again later on.

How can I spend my voucher code?

You can also pay using your voucher code. Contact our Service Centre if you have problems redeeming your voucher.

Make sure to first check whether your voucher is still valid. Your voucher is valid up to one year after the issuance date. After this date, you can no longer redeem it. In addition, it is only possible to use a voucher once. This means that any remaining balance cannot be used for a future booking.
