Want to travel with a group from 10 persons? No problem! You can make your booking quickly and easily via the Groups & Incentives department, so you can take advantage of flexible group conditions. Booking group travel has never been so easy before!

Advantages of booking group travel

  • You have the option of paying in instalments.
  • You can take an option on a booking of 1 or 2 weeks.
  • You can enter and change the passenger names up to 5 days before the departure of the flight.
  • You can cancel 10% of the total number of passengers free of charge up to 2 months before the departure of the flight.

What does group travel cost?

Before booking group travel, naturally you first want to know what it will cost. Ask us for a free price quote. Many of our destinations can be reached from different airports in the Netherlands. See our flight overview beforehand to make sure you notify us of the right flight. Not sure about the departure airport? Ask for several price quotes. The price quotes are valid for seven days, subject to availability.

Curious how we arrived at the rate in the price quote? This is due to the different price categories that are still available. The total number of available seats on a flight are all offered at different rates. Seats with the lowest rates are offered first. The price also depends on the destination, travel period and size of the group.

Tip: The earlier you book, the lower the (group) rate!

Medical luggage with group travel

You may take 1 piece of medical luggage with you, such as special diet food or medical equipment. This is free of charge up to 15 kg per person, provided you notify the Groups & Incentives department. This can be done when making your booking or by sending an e-mail to While travelling, you are required to have a valid medical certificate with you (no older than 7 days).

Extra oxygen on board
Transavia offers two options for extra oxygen on board.

  • You can ask our Service Centre by e-mail to that oxygen be provided on board. You must request medicinal oxygen no later than 72 hours prior to departure. This requires a medical certificate (in English) signed by a physician that states the required number of litres of oxygen per minute and whether the oxygen should be continuous or on standby. The medical statement must be issued no later than 7 days before the departure of your outbound flight.
  • You bring your own portable oxygen concentrator with you. Transavia accepts specific models of portable oxygen concentrators (POC) for use on board. Passengers who must use a POC may take this device and accessories with them on board free of charge.
You are not permitted to use your own oxygen tanks on board, but can take them with you for use at your destination.

You can take a wheelchair with you at no extra cost. To serve you properly, Transavia would like to know whether you are able to walk short distances independently, walk up stairs or are completely unable to walk independently. Notify Transavia of this when making your booking or afterwards. This information will be used to ensure you receive proper assistance at the airport. Due to limited space on board for wheelchairs, we recommend mentioning that passengers with a wheelchair will be travelling when requesting an offer.
If departing from Schiphol Airport, we ask that you arrive at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours prior to departure. You can report to the Transavia assistance desk in Departure Hall 1. We will check in your wheelchair and take you to the aircraft using an airport wheelchair. Your own wheelchair will be placed in the luggage hold. You will also be taken from the aircraft in an airport wheelchair to the baggage carousel in the Arrivals Hall. This procedure may be different at other airports, so make sure to follow the instructions given.

Terms & Conditions for requesting group travel

  • Group request: from 10 persons (travelling together on outbound and/or return flight).
  • Changes to names, dates and/or destinations: €50 per person per flight, in addition to any rate and tax differences.
  • Babies up to 24 months: €20 per person per flight.
  • Seat reservation: €4 -6 per person per flight for a regular seat, €6-9 per person per flight for a seat in the front (rows 2 to 7), €12-21 per person per flight for a seat in row 1, €8-15 per person per flight for a seat with extra legroom.
  • Group check-in online: not possible.
  • Self-service check-in (SSCI) machines: Possible at Schiphol for groups of up to 99 persons. Other airports: not possible.

  • If several passengers within the same group booking have the same last name, a maximum of six of these persons can check in at the machines.

The Groups & Incentives Booking Conditions, as well as the General Fare Conditions and Conditions of Carriage for Transavia Airlines C.V., apply. In the event of a discrepancy between these conditions and any conditions in the General Fare Conditions and Conditions of Carriage, the conditions in the Groups & Incentives Booking Conditions take precedence.
