What happens if my flight is diverted to another airport?
It sometimes happens that we cannot land at your destination, due to bad weather or airport closure. What can you expect from us?
- We will still try to fly to your destination at a later time.
- If the destination airport is closed, we will try to arrange buses to provide you with further transportation.
Reimbursement of transportation and hotel
- Does your flight land before 9 p.m.? In that case we only reimburse the costs of public transportation;
- For flights that land after 9 p.m., we also reimburse taxi costs to your booked final destination. Make sure you get a payment receipt so you can apply for reimbursement via our contact form;
- If someone picks you up, we will reimburse the kilometres incurred (€0,21 per kilometre).
Sometimes we are unable to arrange buses or a hotel for you. We will inform you of this via our handling agent at the airport and via email. We then ask you to book a hotel room yourself. We will pay for one night in a 3-star hotel.
