Why can’t I check in online?

If you are unable to check in online, there may be a number of reasons for this. Luckily, you can always check in at the airport.

  • You are either too early or too late. Online check-in is possible from 30 hours to 4 or 1 hour(s) before departure. You will receive an email 30 hours before departure indicating the exact time period within which you can check in online.
  • You are attempting to log in using incorrect booking details. You can find your booking number in the booking confirmation you received from us. Did you book your flight with a travel organisation? In that case, your booking details can be found in your travel documents.
  • You are trying to check in for a flight from Dubai, Egypt or Morocco. This is not possible. You can only check in at the airport.
  • You are trying to check in for a flight to Dubai. This is not possible. You can only check in at the airport.
  • You have booked via the group desk or you want to check in a group from 26 persons. In this case, you can only check in at the airport.
  • You wish to check in a child who is travelling alone with assistance from Transavia staff. You can only check in at the airport in such cases.

It is also possible that there is a fault in the system. Please try again later or check in at the airport.
