Quels documents de voyage dois-je emporter ?
We remind you that it is your responsibility to comply with the requirements of the country of departure, destination and possible correspondence, in terms of immigration, health and customs formalities. You can consult the Sherpa website to access the travel conditions for your destination.
International flights
- Your passport
The necessary documents are: passport or national identity card. You will not be able to travel with an expired or damaged document. You can check with the consulate of the country you are going to, or on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the documents required for your trip.
- Your visa
Depending on your destination country and nationality, it may be mandatory to obtain a visa before your departure. Check this well in advance on the Sherpa website as well as with the consulate or embassy of the country you are going to.
Domestic flights (France to France)
To travel in France on the domestic network, you will need an identity document such as your passport, national identity card or your French driving license with a visible photo. Family record books are not accepted.
Important: please note that all identity documents (passport, identity card, driving license, etc.) must be presented in physical form. Dematerialized identity documents (photocopies, documents generated via or on the France Identity application, etc.) are not accepted. This rule applies to all flights, within metropolitan France and internationally (including Schengen).
