Can I take my pram, buggy or folding buggy?

Of course. You may take one pram, one folding umbrella stroller or one travel buggy with a maximum weight of 10 kilos for each child.

Pram
You will drop off the pram at the check-in desk. We will transport the pram in the hold. If your pram consists of several parts, such as a chassis plus a travel cot, make sure everything is packed together or ensure that it is sealed. This will prevent any damage or missing items. Upon arrival, you will collect the pram from the baggage carousel. Tip: bring a baby carrier or sling to carry your baby comfortably to the gate.

If your pram weighs more than 10 kilos, you are still allowed to take it with you. We will just deduct the excess kilos from the number of kilos you have booked as hold luggage for the accompanying adult.

For example: you have booked 20 kilos of hold luggage. Your pram weighs a total of 13 kilos. We will then deduct 3 kilos from your hold luggage allowance. This means you can bring a total of 17 kilos as your own hold luggage.

Folding umbrella stroller, travel buggy or baby carrier
A folding buggy, travel buggy or baby carrier that weighs less than 10 kilos may be used all the way to the gate. At the gate we will take the buggy from you and transport it in the hold. Upon arrival, your buggy or baby carrier will be ready for pick-up at the baggage carousel.

Want to bring the buggy into the cabin? Be sure to book and pay for an extra cabin bag. You can do this when booking your flight or later in My Transavia. Make sure the travel buggy complies with the following maximum dimensions: 55 x 35 x 25 cm. Below, you can see a folding umbrella stroller that can be taken to the gate and a pram that needs to be dropped off at the check-in desk.

Children’s trolley, suitcase or bedbox
Are you travelling with a children’s trolley, suitcase or bedbox? Make sure you check the dimensions. If the children’s trolley or suitcase is smaller than 40 x 30 x 20 cm (including wheels and handles), you may bring it on board free of charge. Place it under the seat in front of you. The same rules apply to bedboxes (a ride-on children’s suitcase that can be turned into a child’s bed on board). If the suitcase or trolley is larger, then it falls under the paid cabin bag policy. Conveniently book your cabin bag when reserving your flight or add it later in My Transavia.
