What happens if my flight is diverted to another airport?
For various reasons (bad weather, exceptional airport closure), we may not be able to land at your destination. Here is what we implement:
- Transport solution: We commit to offering you a solution to reach your final destination as soon as possible, in accordance with European regulations.
- Bus organization: If your destination airport is closed, we will make every effort to arrange buses to continue your journey.
Compensation for Transport and Hotel Expenses
- Landing before 9:00 PM: Only public transport costs are reimbursed.
- Landing after 9:00 PM: Taxi costs to the final booked destination are reimbursed. It is essential to keep proof of payment to request a refund via our contact form;
- Pickup at the new airport: If someone is picking you up from the new arrival airport, we cover travel costs up to 10 euros, upon presentation of proof such as a fuel or parking receipt.
If we are unable to arrange transportation or a hotel for you, we will inform you through our airport representative and by email. You will be asked to book a hotel room yourself, and we will reimburse you for one night in a 3-star hotel or equivalent category, within the limits of necessary, appropriate, and reasonable expenses. If you are traveling alone, reimbursement is based on a standard single room.
