In addition to these real gems, the city is well worth a walk. You’ll travel back in time as you pass the Renaissance buildings. Useful information: Toulouse is also called the Pink City because of the pale pink stones of which many buildings are made. If you like art, visit the Augustine Museum in Toulouse where you can see a collection of Roman statues. The building itself is worth a visit, located in an impressive cloister from the Middle Ages.
