Services Access and Distribution Policy

1. Introduction

1.1. This Services Access and Distribution Policy (the “Policy”) outlines how Transavia’s digital environments may be used and how information made available through those environments may be accessed. Transavia provides certain information, including fares, schedules, availability, and related content (“Transavia Data”), through various online environments operated or controlled by Transavia (“Channels”). These Channels consist of public-facing digital services, such as our website and mobile application, intended for individual customers acting for personal use (“Consumer Channels”) and separately maintained interfaces intended for commercial or professional use (“Designated Access Channels”).

1.2. This Policy establishes that booking and interacting with Transavia services through the Consumer Channels is reserved exclusively for consumers. Professional or commercial parties, which includes online travel agencies, distributors, technology providers, aggregators, metasearch platforms, and any other commercial or organisational entities (“Professional Users”), may not access Transavia Data through the Consumer Channels, whether directly or indirectly, including through the use of third parties, tools, services, or technical solutions acting on their behalf. Professional Users may only access Transavia Data through the Designated Access Channels.

2. Use of Channels

2.1. Consumer Channels are provided solely for the personal, non-commercial use of individual customers. Consumers may use these Channels to search for flights, review fares and availability, make and manage personal bookings, and access general information relating to their travel.

2.2. Professional Users are not permitted to use the Consumer Channels for commercial purposes. This includes accessing, collecting, querying, extracting, or otherwise using Transavia Data through the Consumer Channels, whether manually or through automated or technical means, including scripts, bots, crawlers, or similar technologies, except where Transavia has expressly authorised such use.

2.3. Professional Users may interact with Transavia Data only through Designated Access Channels and only where they are authorised under a valid agreement with Transavia. Accessing Transavia Data through any other Channel is strictly prohibited.

2.4. Users of any Channel, whether consumer or professional, must ensure that their use does not interfere with the operation, security, integrity, or availability of the Channels, and must comply with all instructions, technical standards, and usage limitations issued by Transavia.

2.5. Transavia reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to any Channel if use is inconsistent with this Policy or if it disrupts Transavia systems, services, or commercial operations.

3. Terms of Access

3.1. Access to any Channel and to Transavia Data is permitted only in accordance with this Policy and with any additional terms that Transavia may impose. Professional Users may not access Transavia Data unless they have a specific form of authorisation from Transavia.

3.2. Professional Users may only access Transavia Data through Designated Access Channels. These channels consist of either:
3.2.1. an application programming interface made available by Transavia under a written contract governing the use of that interface (“API Agreement”); or
3.2.2. a technical intermediary with whom Transavia has entered into a contract to distribute or provide access to Transavia Data.

3.3. Professional Users must comply with all technical, commercial, and functional limitations contained in the applicable API Agreement or in the terms governing access through the relevant technical intermediary. Access outside the authorised scope is not permitted.

3.4. Transavia may modify, suspend, or withdraw access to any Channel or to Transavia Data if necessary to protect its systems, data, or commercial interests, or in the event of actual or suspected non-compliance with this Policy.

4. Pricing and Information Standards and Requirements

4.1. Professional Users must present all fares, schedules, availability, and ancillary services in a manner that accurately reflects the Transavia Data provided through the relevant Designated Access Channel. Information must not be altered, hidden, or presented in a misleading way.

4.2. Where Transavia fares or services are displayed, it must be clear to the customer that the flight is operated by Transavia.

4.3. Professional Users must present pricing in a transparent manner. All mandatory charges, taxes, and fees supplied by Transavia must be incorporated in the displayed fare. Optional services must be shown clearly and priced according to the information provided by Transavia.

4.4. Professional Users must not apply additional pricing, fees, or charges to Transavia fares or services, or present services as part of the Transavia offering, where such pricing or services are not expressly provided or authorised by Transavia. Any charges or services offered by a Professional User must be clearly identified as their own and must not create confusion as to the scope of Transavia’s services.

4.5. Any use of Transavia Data must comply with Transavia’s applicable legal policies, including the Conditions of Carriage, Privacy Statement, Legal Notice, Disclaimer, and any additional terms provided through the Designated Access Channel. Professional Users must ensure that the customer is informed of these policies where required, for example, the applicable Transavia Contract of Carriage must be clearly indicated or linked in connection with the relevant fare or service.

4.6. Professional Users must follow Transavia’s technical guidance relating to data retrieval, caching, and refresh rates. To maintain system stability, the poll ratio must not exceed 500 API lookups per booking. If the ratio is exceeded, Transavia will charge EUR 0.01 per additional lookup. Transavia provides a caching solution to support efficient data use and reduce unnecessary polling.

4.7. If inaccurate or outdated Transavia Data is displayed, the Professional User must correct it without delay. Transavia may restrict, suspend, or withdraw access where inaccurate pricing or availability persists or where Transavia Data is presented in a manner inconsistent with this Policy.

5. Customer Information Requirements

5.1. Professional Users must ensure that all customer information required by Transavia for the creation and management of a booking is provided accurately, completely, and in the formats specified by Transavia. This includes, at a minimum, the customer’s first name, last name, date of birth, email address, and telephone number.

5.2. Professional Users must not substitute their own contact details for those of the customer unless expressly authorised by Transavia. Customer contact information must allow Transavia to send operational and safety-related notifications directly to the customer.

5.3. Professional Users must promptly transmit all customer requests, updates, and special service needs to Transavia, including but not limited to assistance requests, changes to passenger details, and any other information that may affect the customer’s travel.

5.4. Customer information provided to Transavia must be obtained and shared in compliance with all applicable laws and must be consistent with the Transavia Privacy Statement. Professional Users are responsible for ensuring that customers are informed of how their personal data will be used and for obtaining any required consents.

5.5. Transavia may specify additional data elements or validation requirements where necessary for operational, safety, or regulatory purposes. Professional Users must implement these requirements within the timelines communicated by Transavia.

6. Data Protection

6.1. Professional Users must handle all personal data obtained through a Designated Access Channel in accordance with applicable data protection laws and in a manner consistent with the Transavia Privacy Statement.

6.2. Personal data may be used only for the purposes for which access was granted and only to the extent necessary to perform the authorised services. Any other use is not permitted.

6.3. Professional Users must maintain appropriate security measures to protect personal data processed in connection with Transavia Data and must notify Transavia without undue delay of any incident that may compromise such data.

7. Enforcement

7.1. Transavia may monitor the use of all Channels and Transavia Data to ensure compliance with this Policy and with any applicable agreements or terms.

7.2. In the event of actual or suspected non-compliance by any User, Transavia may take any measures it considers necessary to protect its systems, data, and commercial interests. These measures may include limiting, suspending, or withdrawing access to any Channel or to Transavia Data, with or without prior notice.

7.3. Professional Users must cooperate with Transavia in any investigation relating to misuse of Transavia Data or Channels, including providing reasonable information needed to assess or address the issue.

7.4. Transavia may require a Professional User to immediately correct any conduct or technical implementation that is inconsistent with this Policy. If corrections are not made within the timelines specified by Transavia, Transavia may apply additional restrictions or terminate the relevant access rights.

7.5. Nothing in this Policy limits Transavia’s right to pursue contractual remedies or legal action where misuse of Transavia Data or Channels results in harm or presents a material risk to Transavia, its systems, or its customers.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1. Transavia may amend or update this Policy at any time. The version published on this page is the applicable version. Continued access to or use of any Channel or Transavia Data following an amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

8.2. This Policy operates alongside Transavia’s Conditions of Carriage, Privacy Statement, Legal Notice, Disclaimer and other published policies. In the event of any inconsistency, the terms of the applicable agreement or Channel specific documentation take precedence for Professional Users.

8.3. A failure or delay by Transavia to enforce any part of this Policy does not constitute a waiver of its rights and does not prevent Transavia from enforcing the Policy at a later time.

8.4. All Transavia trademarks, logos, branding elements, and any other proprietary content contained within the Channels or within Transavia Data remain the exclusive property of Transavia or its licensors. Users may not use, copy, reproduce, display, or reference any Transavia branding or proprietary material except as expressly permitted by Transavia. Any use of Transavia’s branding must not mislead customers or suggest endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by Transavia unless such authorisation has been explicitly granted.

8.5. If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

8.6. This Policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy, the Channels, or the use of Transavia Data shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
