Karpathos is right in between Rhodes and Crete. It has both lovely beaches and clear seas all around. Its capital, Pigadia, is in the north of the island. The south has many traditional villages, such as Olympos. The great Greek cuisine can be found all around. So try some of the fresh fish and local cheeses!

In summer, it gets nice and warm out here – around 30 °C. Perfect for a day at the beach. Spring and autumn are also quite pleasant, with temperatures reaching between 20 °C – 25 °C. In winter it cools down to between 10 – 15°C. It may rain every now and again, but not as much as in the Netherlands.
