How much baggage am I allowed to bring for my child?

The following applies to children between the ages of 2 and 11:

You can bring one piece of hand luggage (40 x 30 x 20 cm), for example a small backpack or handbag. Always place this under the seat in front of you.

You are also allowed to bring a folding (umbrella) buggy weighing up to 10 kg for free. If the buggy/pram is heavier, then you have to pay excess baggage for the extra kilos. You can take a folding (umbrella) buggy of a maximum of 10 kilos up to the gate, where it will be taken and transported in the hold. You can pick up your buggy from the baggage carousel upon arrival. If your buggy weighs more than 10 kg, it will be taken at the check-in desk.

If you want to bring more baggage for your child, you can book this when you book your flight, either online via My Transavia or by calling our Service Centre. You can find more information about this here.
