How much does it cost to change passenger details?
You can make one change per passenger for free: first name, last name or date of birth. Gender and passport information can always be changed for free.
If you want to make more than one change, you will pay the following change fees:
- If your flight number starts with HV and is it more than 30 days before departure, you pay €55 per single flight. If it less than 30 days before departure, you pay €70 per single flight.
- If your flight number starts with TO, you pay €65* per single flight.
If, at that time, the price of the ticket is more expensive than the original ticket, you will also pay the difference in the ticket price.
If you have booked the Max fare, you can change your passenger details for free up to two hours before departure. You only pay any difference in the ticket price.
Calculation example:
Example 1: You have accidentally spelled a surname wrong. You have filled in ‘Jansen’ and it should be ‘Janssens’. You can change that for free.
Example 2: You have booked a round trip from Amsterdam to Barcelona. You have made an error in both the first name and last name. It is more than 30 days before departure and your flight number starts with HV. In this case, you will pay 2 x €55 = €110 change fee (outbound and return flight), plus any difference in ticket price.
Example 3: You are taking someone else than originally planned with you on your single flight. You change the first name, last name and date of birth of your co-passenger less than 30 days before departure (HV flight). You pay a €70 change fee, plus any difference in the ticket price. For a round trip, this is 2 x €70 = €140, plus any difference in ticket price.
*Please note:
- If you want to make a change via the Service Centre and your flight starts with TO, you pay €70 change fee per single flight.
- From March 12 onwards, these modifications will cost €89 online and €99 via customer service if made 5 days or less before the departure of the original flight.
- Modifications made 6 days or more before departure will remain €60 online and €70 via customer service.
