What is the best way to bring my medical baggage?
Traveling with medical luggage is subject to certain conditions, namely:
- You must have a medical certificate written in English and signed by your doctor.
- If you are bringing medical baggage for an unexpected medical condition, your medical certificate must have been issued no more than 7 days before the date of your outbound trip.
- If you are carrying medical baggage (medications or medical devices) for a chronic condition, your medical certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the date of your outbound flight.
- Medical baggage that you do not need during your flight is transported as checked baggage.
- Fragile medical devices may be carried in a carry-on bag by contacting our Customer Service. It may weigh up to 10 kg and measure up to 55 x 40 x 25 cm.
