You can go on holiday alone or with loved ones, and that can include your pet. It’s lovely to bring your dog or cat with you on holiday! But can you fly with a dog? And are cats allowed on the plane? Thankfully, the answer is yes, pets are permitted on the plane. If you wish to take a dog or cat with you on Transavia, pets can be booked in while you book your flight. This is also possible after booking, up to 2 hours before departure. Make sure you book your pets on the plane in good time, as there are only a limited number places available. You can find out everything you need to know on this page to ensure your journey goes smoothly. If you are bringing your dog or cat onto the plane with you, your four-legged friend needs travel documents, just as you do. For this reason, please request the 'pet passport' from your vet in good time and ensure you have a good kennel or travel bag to take your cat or dog on the plane. This will make the journey far more comfortable for both of you. Once you’re properly prepared and have all your documents in order, make sure that you and your pet arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to departure. Bon voyage!
