Can my pet travel in the luggage hold?
You may transport your pet in our cargo hold. This is a special heated environment that is equipped with climate and pressure control. It means you can be sure that your dog or cat will travel as comfortably as possible.
We can transport a maximum of two pets in the hold per flight in the luggage hold. Therefore, add your pet to your booking in time to ensure it can travel with you.
Are you travelling with a puppy or kitten? These young pets may also be transported together with its mother or with one family-related puppy or kitten in a kennel. Your pets must then meet the following terms and conditions:
- The puppy or kitten is allowed in a kennel with its mother when the puppy or kitten is at least 3 months and 21 days, and no more than 4 months old.
- The puppy or kitten is allowed in a kennel with one other family-related puppy or kitten if they are both at least 3 months and 21 days, and no more than 6 months old. There are then a total of 2 puppies or kittens in one kennel.
If your flight number starts with HV, you pay €77 per kennel per one-way flight.
For flights starting with TO, the fare for traveling with your pet starts at €100 in the hold, per transport crate and per one-way flight.*
*Price varies depending on the destination and the number of remaining spots for pets on the relevant flight.
Please note: The kennel in which your pet will travel in the hold must meet stringent requirements. It is also important that you prepare the kennel for travel yourself. You can find more information about this here.
